Uncanny Atlas has no accounts and no analytics. Reading it asks nothing of you.

What we collect

Server logs. Like any website, the server records each request: the address it came from, the page and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and are not shared.

Submissions. If you submit a story, we keep what you type: the title, your account and the source links. The email field is optional. If you give one, it is used only to reply to you about that submission. It is never published or shared. To limit spam, the site also remembers for an hour how many submissions came from your connection.

Cookies. The site sets none of its own. Fonts and scripts are served from this site, not from third parties.

Advertising

The site does not show ads yet. When it does, ads will appear only on entry, directory and search pages, and our advertising partner will ask for your consent before using cookies where the law requires it. This page will be updated first.

Deleting your submission

To have a submission or your email removed, send a new submission with the title "Delete my submission" and the email you used. It will be deleted, not archived.
