The death of Stanton Friedman
Stanton T. Friedman, a nuclear physicist turned UFO lecturer, died on 13 May 2019 in Toronto at the age of 84.
Stanton T. Friedman died on 13 May 2019 in Toronto, aged 84, according to the Boston Globe obituary. Wikipedia calls him a nuclear physicist and ufologist of American and Canadian nationality, based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, born on 29 July 1934.
The Globe says he believed extraterrestrials had come to Earth, and that this led him to leave nuclear physics and give wide-ranging lectures on alien visitations. The Canadian Press says he became known as a top authority on UFOs, alien abductions and the Roswell incident, which it says many consider the definitive UFO event.
Wikipedia records that in 1996, after researching the Majestic 12 documents, Friedman said there were no substantive grounds for dismissing their authenticity.
