Wikipedia describes Magnetic Hill as a gravity hill between Khalatse and Leh in Ladakh, 7.5 kilometres south-east of Nimmoo and 26.5 kilometres west of Leh on the Srinagar-Leh road. It says the layout of the area and its surrounding slopes produce the optical illusion of an uphill road, when the road in fact runs downhill, so cars and objects can appear to roll uphill.

Onmanorama places it 30 kilometres from Leh at 14,000 feet and reports that a vehicle entering the hill moves up the incline even with the engine off or in neutral. Incredible India, the Government of India's tourism site, calls the hill famous for pulling vehicles uphill, and says an optical illusion lies behind the effect, which still fascinates visitors.

From the primary source
"Magnet Hill is a gravity hill located, between Khalatse and Leh in Sham district of Ladakh, India. The layout of the area and surrounding slopes create the optical illusion of a hill. The hill road is actually a downhill road. Objects and cars on the hill road may appear to roll uphill in defiance of gravity when they are, in fact, rolling downhill.[1] It is 7.5 kilometres (4.7 mi) southeast of Nimmoo and 26.5 km west of Leh on Srinagar-Leh road."
