A Patek Philippe watch made for Henry Graves Jr. between 1925 and 1932. In 2014 news.com.au ran it as a cursed watch.

Sotheby's catalogue for its 2014 Geneva sale of important watches describes Patek Philippe's Supercomplication for Henry Graves Jr. as begun in 1925 and finished in 1932, with delivery following on 19 January 1933. It was lot 345.

The curse comes from the press. In 2014 news.com.au called it the world's most expensive watch and said it was cursed. It reported that seven months after the watch reached him, Graves lost his closest friend and his son died in a road accident. National Jeweler repeated the story in 2021 in a piece on cursed jewels, saying the friend's death and the son's fatal car accident came soon after the watch arrived.

Wikipedia says a new owner of the watch turned out to be Sheikh Saud bin Muhammed Al Thani, a member of the Qatari royal family. The Sheikh died on 9 November 2014. After his death the watch went back to auction.

From the primary source
"The new owner was later revealed to be a member of the Qatari royal family, Sheikh Saud bin Muhammed Al Thani.[18][19] Prince Sheikh Saud died on 9 November 2014, and the watch was sent again for auction.[20]"
